DJI RS 5

The DJI RS 5 is a powerful handheld stabilizer designed for cameras and camcorders, allowing you to shoot extremely smooth and professional video without unwanted shaking. With intelligent object tracking, a built-in touchscreen, powerful motors, and support for heavier rigs, it's ideal for filmmakers, content creators, and demanding video projects in the field or studio.

The DJI RS 5 features a touchscreen display for selecting subjects and smooth balancing with rotary dials, all complemented by faster charging and longer battery life.

Next-generation algorithm, increased torque

The maximum torque of the motors has been increased by 50% compared to the previous model, ensuring stable images even in fast-moving scenes. In addition, the 5th generation stabilization algorithm improves the stability of shots while walking, running, and shooting vertically.

Compact body with a load capacity of up to 3 kg

The stabilizer weighs only 1.46 kg, including the handle (for the Combo version) and quick-release plates, and allows you to switch to vertical shooting without the need for additional accessories. Its load capacity is 3 kg, so it can easily carry common mirrorless cameras and lenses.

Longer battery life, fully charged in just 1 hour

The DJI RS 5 can be fully charged in just one hour, which is a 60% increase in charging speed compared to the previous model. In addition, the standard battery provides up to 15% longer standby time and allows up to 14 hours of use.

DJI RS BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip

The new BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip increases the battery life of the RS 5 to up to 30 hours.

Newly supported Bluetooth shutter release for Panasonic and Fujifilm

In addition to Sony, Canon, and Nikon cameras, the RS 5 Bluetooth shutter release now also supports select Panasonic and Fujifilm cameras, enabling wireless control of the shutter, zoom
and Clear Image Zoom function without the need for cables.

Z-axis indicator

The new Z-axis indicator provides instant feedback so you can accurately frame your shot and achieve more stable, professional-looking images.

Smooth and precise balancing

Rotary selectors on each axis arm allow for quick and precise balancing using a screw mechanism. Combined with Teflon spacers, the RS 5 ensures smooth and precise balancing even with heavier setups.

Second-generation automatic axis locks

Second-generation automatic axis locks automatically lock the gimbal when it is turned off or put into sleep mode. This makes handling and storage easier. When turned on, the axes unlock just as quickly, so you can start shooting immediately and never miss an important moment.

Native third-generation vertical shooting

To switch to vertical shooting, simply release and press the side selector, remove the horizontal gimbal plate, rotate it 90°, and then reattach it to its place.

Two-layer quick-release plates

The Arca-Swiss top plate and Manfrotto bottom plate allow you to quickly switch between gimbal and tripod without rebalancing thanks to the position memory function. The top plate also features an adjustable guide rail for secure camera mounting.

DJI Focus Pro Motor support

When connected to two DJI Focus Pro Motors, the RS 5 allows you to control the lens zoom with a joystick and precise focusing with a wheel, providing smooth and comfortable lens control.

DJI SDR Transmission Support

DJI SDR Transmission enables high-quality live streaming, remote control of the gimbal and camera, use of the Force Mobile function, and much more.

RSA Communication Port

The RSA port is used to connect the Electronic Briefcase Handle, RS Tethered Control Handle,and remote-controlled Ring Handles. Thanks to the open RS SDK, third-party developers can create their own functions.
