Desview A5 PRO

The Desview A5 PRO is a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS on-camera monitor featuring 1000 nits brightness, 10-bit color depth, and an ultra-wide 99.9% DCI-P3 color gamut. With 4K60 HDMI input/output, professional waveform tools, and 3D LUT calibration, it is designed for accurate monitoring in film and video production.

Full HD IPS display with true colors

The 1920 × 1080 IPS display with 10-bit color depth (8+2 FRC) renders color gradients smoothly without visible banding. The 1000:1 contrast ratio adds depth to the image and the 178° viewing angle keeps colors true even when viewed from the side.

Professional 3D LUT color calibration

Color calibration through a full 3D LUT makes the monitor render colors more accurately. It covers 99.9% of the DCI-P3 color gamut used in film production, and the 1080p image is sharp down to the detail. The 1000-nit brightness copes with outdoor shooting.

Light and easy to carry

The ABS polymer body weighs only 320 g, so the monitor slips easily into a bag and you can move freely with the camera. Its compact size and clear picture make the A5 PRO a practical monitor for both camera and gimbal.

4K 60p signal input and output

The monitor accepts HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K 60p and passes them on through the HDMI output. Compared to 4K 30p it carries twice the amount of video data, so the image is finer, smoother and more precise.

Custom 3D LUTs for a cinematic look

The monitor has built-in official LUTs for mainstream cameras and lets you load up to 99 custom LUTs via USB. When shooting in a log profile you see the image in its target color rendering right away and can switch between styles.

Professional monitoring assist functions

The assist functions ensure accurate focus and exposure, and the monitor serves you during shooting, in post-production and in color calibration.

Available tools: false color, zebra, histogram, waveform, full-frame waveform, focus peaking, HDR, LUT, vectorscope, monochrome display, anamorphic de-squeeze, aspect ratio markers, grid lines, composition guides, image rotation and audio meters.

Control by knob and touch

Select functions by pressing and turning the control knob, so settings are quick. The touchscreen supports two-finger zoom – enlarge the image, drag to inspect any detail and check the quality of the shot in real time.

Sunhood against strong light

The sunhood goes on and comes off easily, so it is ready whenever you shoot outdoors. It effectively blocks light falling on the screen and folds quickly for storage after the shoot.

Three power options for long shoots

Power the monitor from NP-F series batteries, the DC 7–24 V input or USB-C (5 V / 3 A). Three power options keep it running for a long time and make it easy to fit into any rig.
