Canare L-5.5CUHD FRNC BLK coaxial 12G-SDI cable, halogen-free (per metre)

The Canare L-5.5CUHD-FRNC is a 75 Ω coaxial cable for 12G-SDI with a halogen-free FRNC jacket and European CPR B2ca reaction-to-fire class, intended for fixed installation in buildings. It is sold by the metre; the price shown is for one metre.

The L-5.5CUHD-FRNC belongs to the Ultra Coax series, which Canare built specifically for 12G-SDI. The center conductor is solid, the insulation is multi-layer highly-foamed PE and the shield is copper foil with a dense tinned braid. A single 4K UHD link can therefore reach 100 m or more, according to the manufacturer — depending on the receiving equipment.

The FRNC version differs from the standard L-5.5CUHD in its jacket: it is halogen-free and the cable carries the European CPR reaction-to-fire classification, class B2ca. That is exactly what fixed installations inside buildings call for.

The manufacturer intends the cable for fixed installation — it should not be bent repeatedly or exposed to external pressure. The cable is sold cut to length.
