TheCanare BCJ-RUC1 is a 75Ω BNC panel jack for video. It differs from the direct-wiring type in that the cable portion of the jack is covered by a crimp sleeve that shields the connection. The design is space-saving because it is intended for internal device wiring.
The center contact is made of beryllium copper with good elastic properties; it is gold-plated and soldered. The crimp sleeve, on the other hand, must be crimped —Canare specifies its TCD-1DB crimping pliers for this purpose.
The flange is ITT Cannon XLR-F77 size; the mounting is recessed to prevent the jack from being damaged by impact. The return loss for the panel jack version is 26 dB or more up to 1 GHz.
The Canare IU-7/16 isolation set is used to isolate the jack from the panel; the mounting hole is then drilled to fit its dimensions.
We sell these individually; the manufacturer supplies this jack in packs of 20. TCD-1DB crimping pliers are not included.
