The Canare BCP-LC3F is an angled crimp-on BNC plug for 75Ω video. The cable exits at a right angle, so the connector fits even in places where there isn’t enough depth behind a panel or rack for a straight plug—and where a straight connector would break.
It fits Canare L-3CFB, LS-3CFB, and V*-3CFB coaxial cables. The connector is truly 75Ω—with return loss of 26 dB or more up to 2 GHz —yet it also mechanically fits into standard 50Ω BNC sockets. The outer contact is made of beryllium copper.
The center contact is gold-plated, so it doesn’t degrade over time, and it’s held in place by a lock in the insulator to prevent it from rotating or slipping out.
The plug is crimped, not soldered. The crimp connection is quick to make and turns out just as well even when done by inexperienced hands. You’ll need Canare crimping pliers with TCD-35CA jaws.
We sell these individually; the manufacturer supplies this connector in packs of 20. Tools are not included.
