UltraStudio 4K Mini is a portable professional solution for video capture and playback via Thunderbolt 3, 12G-SDI, and HDMI 2.0. It supports standard SD, HD, Ultra HD, and DCI 4K workflows in a single compact device.

High image quality: supports 8-bit and 10-bit formats up to DCI 4Kp60 and 12-bit video up to DCI 4Kp30. It’s suitable for monitoring, ingest, archiving, streaming, and live broadcast graphics.

The front panel, featuring an LCD preview and control buttons, simplifies operation without having to open the software. An XLR microphone input with phantom power and a headphone output allow for quick audio monitoring right at the workstation.

The built-in slot for UHS-I and UHS-II SD cards facilitates the transfer and review of recorded footage. The rear USB-C port can be used to connect peripherals to a host computer.

In addition to 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0b, the device offers analog component YUV, composite video, balanced analog and digital audio, a reference input, and RS-422 for remote control of decks.

Thunderbolt 3 provides high bandwidth and can simultaneously deliver up to 45 W of power to a connected laptop. UltraStudio works with DaVinci Resolve and other popular applications for editing, color grading, audio, and broadcasting.
