Mini Converter SDI Distribution splits a single SD, HD or 3G-SDI input into eight reclocked outputs. It detects the input format automatically and keeps embedded audio, ancillary data and ASI together with the picture.

A true 3G-SDI design

The distribution amplifier works with all SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 as well as 2K DCI and switches between them automatically; for 3G-SDI it supports level B. It is a sensible choice where you do not need Ultra HD and do not want to pay for the 4K model.

No setup needed

The distribution amplifier has no user controls: it detects the input format itself and matches the outputs to it. Just connect power and cables – thanks to reclocking and low jitter, longer cables can be used too.

In the rack, in the truck and outdoors

The Mini Converter range of converters is built for 24/7 operation: the compact metal body fits into a studio rack, an outside broadcast truck or a live sports event outdoors. The connections are easy to reach and use standard cables.

About the Mini Converter range

The Mini Converter range is designed for professional broadcast, post-production and AV installations. A compact metal chassis, high-quality connectors and standard cabling make it dependable in studios, control rooms and mobile systems.

The converter has no user controls – it detects supported formats automatically and keeps picture and sound stable throughout the signal chain.

The electronics automatically handle supported SD and HD formats and, on SDI models, keep the signal stable along the whole chain. The result is a practical link between older and current equipment without needlessly complex infrastructure.
