The AVMatrix 4K HDMI Encoder & Decoder is a professional IP video solution supporting 4K30 encoding and decoding, NDI® workflows, HDMI passthrough, live streaming, recording, PTZ control, and flexible power options for broadcast and production environments.

The AVMatrix 4K HDMI Encoder & Decoder is a compact professional-grade video transmission and streaming device designed for modern IP-based production workflows. Supporting up to 4K30 encoding and decoding with optional NDI® compatibility, this versatile unit is ideal for broadcasters, content creators, live event production, education, houses of worship, and hybrid streaming environments.

With support for multiple streaming protocols including RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, and optional NDI|HX/NDI|HX2/HX3, the device easily integrates into professional live production systems and remote streaming setups. High-bandwidth transmission up to 50 Mbps ensures stable, high-quality video delivery with low latency.

The encoder supports HDMI input resolutions up to 4K60 and includes zero-latency HDMI loop output for real-time monitoring. The decoder outputs video up to 4K30 through HDMI, making it suitable for professional displays, switchers, and monitoring systems.

In addition to streaming, the device supports direct recording to SD cards, USB drives, and NAS storage. Flexible audio handling through integrated 3.5mm audio input/output and USB audio support makes it adaptable for various production needs.

The integrated PTZ camera control system supports Pelco-D/P and VISCA protocols, allowing remote control of compatible PTZ cameras. USB connectivity also enables UVC capture, USB video streaming, USB PTZ camera control, and USB audio input functions.

Designed for professional deployment, the unit supports DC power input and PoE+ (802.3at), with additional DC and USB power output options for powering external accessories.
