150mm Fluid Head Ball Mount Adapter Kit for Boulder Camera Cart - Black

The Tilta TC-FHK-B fluid head mount with a 150 mm bowl clamps onto the Steadicam Dock of the Boulder Camera Cart and, without tools, turns the cart into a station for large tripod heads. The 150 mm bowl takes cinema-class fluid heads, the height on the dock is adjustable and the whole mount swivels, so the tie-down under the head is within reach without moving the cart. The 75/100 mm version is the TC-FHB-B.

The Tilta 150mm Fluid Head Ball Mount Adapter Kit is a fluid head mount for the Boulder Camera Cart in the version with a 150 mm bowl. The heavy fluid head stays mounted on the cart and ready — for checking the frame, working with the camera straight from the cart, and moving over to the tripod when needed.

Clamped onto the Steadicam Dock

The mount clamps onto the Boulder Steadicam Dock (TC-SD-B), which is required for mounting. Fitting and removal are tool-free, so the mount only comes along on shoots where it is used and takes up no space otherwise. The height on the dock adjusts to the cart setup and the head in use, and because the mount swivels, the tie-down under the head always ends up where you can reach it comfortably.

150 mm bowl

The 150 mm bowl is meant for the large cinema-class fluid heads that do not fit 75 and 100 mm bowls. The head is tightened in the bowl with its tie-down just as on a tripod, and thanks to the weight of the cart and the width of its base it stands firm even with a heavy camera. The body of the mount is aluminum alloy in a black finish that matches the rest of the Boulder accessories. For heads with a 75 or 100 mm ball there is the TC-FHB-B version.

The Tilta Boulder cart

The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts, including this one.
