Viltrox AF 56mm F1.2 Pro E is a fast portrait prime for APS-C Sony E cameras. It gives an 85mm full-frame-equivalent angle of view, an F1.2 aperture for strong subject separation, fast and quiet Dual HyperVCM autofocus, and a durable full-metal body with a 67mm filter thread. It is well suited to portraits, close detail shots, low-light work and video, supported by minimal focus breathing and practical controls on the lens barrel.

The classic portrait angle

56 mm on APS-C is roughly equivalent to 85 mm on full frame. It is a natural portrait perspective: faces stay flattering, backgrounds compress gently, and the F1.2 aperture gives the image a strong sense of depth.

Sharp even wide open

Viltrox builds the lens around 13 elements in 8 groups. The UA element helps keep bokeh smooth, the ED element controls color fringing, and the three HR elements support high sharpness in a compact APS-C system.

Fast autofocus, video support and barrel controls

The Dual HyperVCM motor provides fast and quiet autofocus. The E-mount version also includes an Fn button, AF/MF switch and CLICK switch for aperture control. Minimal focus breathing helps focus transitions look more natural in video.

Durable body for everyday work

The full-metal matte black barrel is sealed against dust, splashes and moisture. The front element has water- and smudge-resistant coating, and the lens supports EXIF transmission, USB-C firmware updates and standard 67mm filters.
