Vaxis VFX White V-Streak 1mm Filter 4x5.65"

Vaxis VFX White V-Streak 1 mm is a 4 × 5.65″ glass effect filter for matte boxes. It draws white elongated streaks from point light sources that stretch symmetrically sideways and give the shot a filmic, dramatic look.

The V-Streak filter turns lights in the scene into striking white streaks that extend symmetrically and horizontally from each point source. They draw attention to a chosen part of the frame or add visual drama to the scene. The 1 mm line spacing shapes the streaks – a smaller spacing gives a tighter, more concentrated effect.

Horizontal streaks from lights

Headlights, lamps and reflections stretch into symmetrical streaks. The filter optics create the effect, so it moves with the light in the scene.

Attention where you want it

A streak leads the eye to a chosen part of the frame or turns an ordinary night scene into a visually dramatic image.

Pouch included

The filter comes in a protective pouch for safe storage and transport between shoots.

The effect, in camera

The effect comes from the real lights in the scene, so it reacts to every movement of camera and light – something post-production struggles to imitate.

1 mm spacing

Line spacing shapes the streaks; a smaller spacing gives a tighter, more concentrated effect.

Water white glass

Extra-clear water white glass ensures optical clarity and faithful colour.

4 × 5.65″ format

The standard size for cinema filters – it fits common matte boxes and filter trays.

Stack and swap

The filter slides into a tray in front of the lens, so you can combine it with other filters and swap it without touching the lens.
