Blackmagic Design Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 G2

Blackmagic Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 G2 is a hardware control panel that controls up to eight Ultimatte 12 keyers at the same time via Ethernet. It has a 10.1″ capacitive touchscreen, eight rotary knobs, Unit ID buttons with online and on air indicators, preset buttons and File Clear for auto key. It offers an HDMI 1080p60 output, three USB-C ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports and 12 V power.

Auto key with one button

Unit switching and presets

Eight Unit ID buttons light blue for the active unit, and the indicators show green for online and red for on air. Five Quick Load buttons load presets, with the Alt button they save them, and File Clear runs the auto key.

Control a whole keyer setup

Smart Remote 4 G2 controls up to eight Ultimatte 12 units at the same time over the network – HD Mini, HD, 4K and 8K models. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports connect to the LAN and are used for software updates with the Ultimatte Setup utility.

The rear has a 12 V locking power input, two USB-C ports, two Ethernet ports and an HDMI output; the front has Unit ID, preset and File Clear buttons, rotary knobs, the touchscreen and a front USB-C port.
