The Ulanzi Ombra YING is a travel tripod that extends to 158 cm and weighs just 1.1 kg —roughly the same as a one-liter bottle of water. The ball head features a 360° panoramic range, a spirit level for leveling the tripod, and a small compass built into the body. The quick-release plate is Arca-Swiss standard, so it fits on third-party heads as well. The legs lock into several angles, and when you remove the silicone feet, they become spikes.

When fully extended, the tripod reaches 158 cm, allowing you to shoot at eye level without bending over. Weighing 1.1 kg, it’s still light enough to carry in your backpack all day.

The ball head features a 360° scale around its circumference, allowing you to rotate it by exactly the same angle each time—ensuring your panorama fits together seamlessly. The spirit level shows whether the tripod is level, and there’s even a small compass built into the body to help with orientation in the field.

The quick-release plate complies with the Arca-Swiss standard. This allows you to transfer your camera to another head or slider without changing the plate.

When folded, the legs tuck around the center column, and the tripod can be carried by hand or clipped to a backpack. On the go, it takes up no more space than a large water bottle.

Each leg locks into several spread angles, so you can set up the tripod even on uneven terrain or close to the ground. Removing the silicone feet reveals metal spikes for soft surfaces.
