The Ulanzi VL-120Bi is a compact 120W bi-color COB light designed for video, photography, interviews, and studio work. It offers a continuously adjustable color temperature range of 2700–6500 K, high color rendering (CRI >95), an intensity of up to 20,700 lux at a distance of 1 m, and convenient control via the Ulanzi Connect app.
Powerful and Precise Bi-Color Light
The VL-120Bi combines a 120W COB light source with a wide color temperature range of 2700–6500 K. From warm interior tones to cool daylight, you can set the mood without changing filters. At 6500 K, it achieves a luminous flux of up to 20,700 lux at a distance of 1 m.
Natural Colors and Smooth Dimming
A CRI value higher than 95 helps preserve natural skin tones and accurate product colors. Brightness can be smoothly adjusted from 0–100%, allowing you to easily adapt the light for use as main, accent, or effect lighting.
Controls on the Light and via Your Phone
The easy-to-read LCD display and smooth rotary control allow for quick adjustments directly on the light. Using the Ulanzi Connect app, you can control the light remotely from up to approximately 30 m away, group multiple units together, and adjust brightness, color temperature, and effects.
Six lighting effects
The Bi-Color version offers six preset scene effects for quickly setting the mood in your videos. This is not an RGB model: the VL-120Bi is designed for precise white light with a smooth color temperature adjustment.
V-Mount or Power Adapter
The light can be powered by a V-Mount battery for on-location work or via a compatible DC power adapter in the studio. Neither the battery nor the power adapter is included with the “Only Light” variant and must be selected separately.
Bowens Accessories and Flexible Mounting
The standard Bowens mount allows you to use softboxes and other light modifiers. The swiveling L-shaped bracket offers 360° rotation and makes it easy to precisely direct the light on a stand.
For Studio and On-Location Shoots
Its compact design, high output, dual power options, and wireless control make the VL‑120Bi a versatile light for interviews, portraits, product videos, streaming, and small film setups.
