An ultra-wide 17 mm full-frame lens with manual focus. Shift straightens the converging lines of buildings, tilt turns the plane of focus.

Shift straightens lines, tilt turns the plane of focus, and the whole mechanism rotates through 360°. One lens covers architecture, interiors, landscape and creative shots.
Minimum focus distance of 0.3 m.
An ultra-wide 17 mm on full frame.
Including two large aspherical elements.
Protects the curved front element; the lens has no filter thread.
A regular wide-angle lens makes vertical lines converge in architecture. Shifting the optics by up to 8 mm corrects the perspective in camera, so buildings stay straight and vertical.

Tilting the optics by up to 8° turns the plane of focus relative to the sensor. Only a narrow band of the frame stays sharp, and a city or landscape looks like a miniature model.

The image circle is larger than that of full-frame (approx. 43.2 mm) and medium-format lenses (approx. 54.8 mm).

Two large aspherical elements control distortion, dispersion and chromatic aberration and keep the edges sharp. Six high-index elements reduce the size of the lens while increasing resolution.

The 10-blade aperture is set manually from F4 to F16. It gives smooth blur and distinct 10-point starbursts around point light sources.

The whole tilt and shift mechanism rotates through 360° with click stops every 15°. You can set shift and tilt vertically, horizontally or diagonally, depending on the subject.

The lens hood cuts unwanted side light and protects the curved front element from bumps and scratches. The lens has no filter thread.

The lens body is all metal and the aperture ring has click stops. The lens weighs approx. 1051–1056 g and focuses manually from 0.3 m.
