Tiltaing Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate Kit I

The Tiltaing Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate Kit I pairs Tilta’s smallest V-Mount plate with the adapter for 15 mm rods. The combination solves the most common case: the battery has to hang behind the camera on standard 15 mm LWS rods and stay clear of the body. The plate is mechanical, with no power outputs; power comes from a P-Tap cable off the battery.

The Tiltaing Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate Kit I is the same pocket plate, only supplied with the 15 mm rod adapter. Anyone building on a baseplate with LWS rods does not have to buy the adapter separately.

Plate plus 15 mm rod adapter

The package holds the pocket V-Mount plate and the adapter that puts it on a pair of 15 mm LWS rods. Spacing and diameter follow the usual standard, so it fits a baseplate from Tilta and from other makers alike.

The battery slides where it is needed

The adapter slides along the rods and clamps with screws, so the battery can be pushed away from the camera body, lined up with the operator’s shoulder or moved forward for balance.

Pocket-sized plate

The plate itself measures 54 × 74 mm and weighs 71 g. On the rods it takes minimal space and leaves room for a follow focus or a matte box.

There are no power connectors on the plate. The camera and accessories are fed by a P-Tap cable run straight off the battery.
