Tilta USB-C Power Cable (30cm)

The Tilta TCB-USBC-USBC-30 is a 30 cm USB-C → USB-C power cable. It powers accessories with a USB-C port from a USB-C source on the rig — a battery plate, handle or power bank — and is made for the Nucleus Nano II motors: the short length suits chaining motors on one zoom, where the second motor draws its power from the first.

The Tilta TCB-USBC-USBC-30 is the shortest of Tilta's USB-C power cables. On the rig it links a USB-C source to a Nucleus Nano II motor or other USB-C accessory without leaving a loop that would need tidying away.

USB-C at both ends, 30 cm in between

The cable has a USB-C plug at each end. One goes into the source — a Tilta battery plate with a USB-C output, a handle with a USB-C port or a power bank — the other into the accessory's power port. The 30 cm length is made for Nucleus Nano II motors on one lens: with two motors on a zoom, focus and zoom, they sit side by side on the rods and this cable chains them, so the second motor draws its power from the first and only one longer cable runs to the plate. The conductors are copper, the jacket black.

On the cage with no excess length

A longer cable has to be coiled on the cage and clipped somewhere; 30 cm between two neighbouring motors or between a handle and a motor runs straight, with nothing sticking out. For the longer run — from the plate at the back of the cage to the motor in front of the camera — the same cable comes in 60 cm (TCB-USBC-USBC-60).

The Tilta TCB cable range links camera, battery and accessories on the rig: power from a V-Mount or Gold Mount plate over P-Tap, 2-pin Lemo, 3-pin Fischer or a DC barrel connector, USB-C PD for monitors and handles, 7-pin control cables for the Nucleus system and HDMI or BNC for the picture. Lengths follow the rig — short on the cage, longer out to arms and batteries; this cable is one of them.
