Dense faux fur on a foam core covers the built-in microphones on top of the Canon PowerShot V1 and breaks up gusts of wind before they reach the capsules. The sound of outdoor vlogs stays crisp and clear, without the rumble and hiss the wind otherwise adds to the recording. The windscreen covers nothing else and adds no noticeable bulk to the camera.

Fits the V1 precisely, does not obstruct the controls

The windscreen is shaped precisely for the top of the V1 body and sits securely in place. It does not obstruct the power button or the other controls, so you operate the camera exactly as you would without it — and take it off in one move when needed. It complements the TA-T82-TP-B top plate and the TA-T82-WG-B baseplate of the same series.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
