Tilta Khronos Lite iPhone 17 Pro Case - Navy Blue

The Tilta Khronos Lite case for the iPhone 17 Pro (Navy Blue) is the slimmed-down counterpart to the Khronos cage: accessories are held by a magnetic back plate rather than a locking clamp, so it is thinner and cheaper. The built-in kickstand holds the phone in portrait and landscape, a metal lens frame and reinforced corners absorb impacts, and the Camera Control button works through capacitive passthrough. Fits the iPhone 17 Pro only.

How Khronos Lite differs from the full Khronos line

The full Khronos line is an aluminium phone cage: accessories lock into it with a clamping mechanism, and built-in electronic contacts pass power through it from the optional Power Handle. Khronos Lite has none of that. It is a thin aluminium-and-plastic case where accessories hold magnetically and the handle clips into mounting points in the fold-out kickstand. In exchange, Lite is far lighter, far flatter and several times cheaper — and it adds a kickstand the full line does not have. Choose Khronos when you need power passthrough, a locking clamp and tripod mounting; choose Khronos Lite when you want an everyday case you can build on whenever you like.

Which phone it fits

The case is machined for the iPhone 17 Pro and does not fit any other iPhone 17 model — body size and camera cut-out differ between them. The Khronos Lite line for the iPhone 17 therefore comes in four versions: iPhone 17 (SKU TKL-IP17-FC-*), iPhone 17 Air (TKL-IP17-AFC-*), iPhone 17 Pro (TKL-IP17-PFC-*) and iPhone 17 Pro Max (TKL-IP17-PMFC-*). Check your phone model under Settings → General → About before buying.

Magnetic plate and accessory interfaces

The back panel is a magnetic plate. Khronos magnetic accessories hold on it — card holder, LED light, external SSD, power bank or cooling fan. The fold-out kickstand carries mounting points that take the Khronos Lite control handle; the handle runs over Bluetooth, so the USB-C port stays free for charging or recording to an external drive. On the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max versions a Khronos 58mm filter tray snaps on in front of the lenses, taking 58mm filters and lens adapters (17mm thread, T-mount). The manufacturer does not state MagSafe compatibility for the Khronos Lite line; the magnetic plate is meant for Khronos accessories.

Case, Handheld Kit or Creator Kit

The three packages differ only in what comes with the case. The case (TKL-IP17-FC-*, -AFC-*, -PFC-*, -PMFC-*) is the case alone with a screen protector; handle, filter tray and filters are bought separately. The Handheld Kit (TKL-IP17-PA-* for the iPhone 17 Pro, TKL-IP17-PMA-* for the iPhone 17 Pro Max) adds the Khronos Lite control handle, a 58mm filter tray and a universal magnetic backplate — only filters are missing. The Creator Kit (TKL-IP17-PB-*, TKL-IP17-PMB-*) is the Handheld Kit plus a 1–5 stop variable ND filter and a Black Mist 1/2 polariser. Neither kit is made for the iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Air.
