Tilta Camera Cage for DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Base Kit - Black

The Tilta Base Kit for the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro combines the full aluminium-alloy cage with a magnetic 1/4″-20 mounting baseplate. The cage protects the camera body and leaves the charging port, microphone and shutter clear; the baseplate snaps on magnetically underneath or on the side and adds a thread for a tripod, gimbal or articulating arm. An adapter ring for the magnetic Tilta ACTION filters is included as well.

The Base Kit is the cage plus a magnetic threaded plate — the pair that lets you put the camera anywhere. The cage wraps the body and leaves every control free, the plate adds a 1/4″-20 thread with locating points so nothing twists on a tripod. Both come off in seconds and the camera is bare again.

Fit it from one end, swap the battery at the other

The quick release sits on both sides of the cage. From one end you click the camera in, from the other you open the battery door — no tools, no need to take the cage off. The redesigned mechanism has more clearance, so the latch does not jam even with gloves on.

Nothing is covered up

The metal shutter button has a precise action and guards against starting a recording by accident. The cut-out around the microphone is shaped so the sound is not muffled, and the charging port stays reachable — you can charge the camera without taking the cage off.

Magnetic Tilta ACTION filters

A magnetic ring on the front takes the snap-on filters of the Tilta ACTION line — ND, MCUV and CPL. Swapping one takes a second and needs no tools. The filter adapter ring is included; the filters themselves are not.

Action 3, Action 4 and Action 5 Pro

The shape of the cage accounts for all three generations of the DJI Osmo Action. The DJI magnetic connectors on the side and underneath stay clear, so the original DJI mounts and the Tilta magnetic mounting baseplate keep working.

Magnetic 1/4″-20 mounting baseplate

The included plate holds on the DJI magnetic connectors — snap it on underneath, or on the side when you want to shoot vertically. It carries a 1/4″-20 thread with locating points, so nothing twists on a tripod or a selfie stick. One movement takes it off and the camera stays in the bare cage.

Aluminium alloy and silicone pads

The frame is aluminium alloy with silicone pads bonded inside that damp vibration and protect the camera body from scuffing. There are several attachment points: a cold shoe on top, a 1/4″-20 thread with locating points on the side and the DJI magnetic connectors.
