Tilta Full Camera Cage for DJI Osmo 360 - Black

The Tilta Full Camera Cage TA-T89-FCC-B is a quick-release protective frame in magnesium and aluminum alloy built specifically for the DJI Osmo 360. It wraps the camera without covering the controls, screen, ports or the DJI magnetic connector, and adds a cold shoe, 1/4"-20 threads with locating points and a strap slot. The battery door is removable and the silicone lens protector is included.

The Tilta Full Camera Cage for DJI Osmo 360 turns the compact 360° camera into the base of a rig: it protects the body on a motorcycle, a bike and in a car, and adds mounting points the camera itself does not have. The cage is held by a quick release, so it goes on for the ride and comes off at home in seconds.

Quick-release frame in magnesium and aluminum

The magnesium and aluminum alloy frame adds strength at minimal weight; the edges of the cage stand proud around the lenses, so in a fall or scrape the cage takes the hit, not the camera. The PRESS button on the side releases the lock and the cage comes off without tools — for a fast battery swap, cleaning the lenses or shooting without the cage.

The DJI magnetic connector stays free

The lower part of the cage does not cover the DJI magnetic connector, so the camera with the cage clicks onto the original quick-release mounts, selfie stick, battery extension rod or helmet and handlebar mounts. The battery door is removable on its own: you change the battery without taking the cage off the camera.

Cold shoe, 1/4"-20 threads and strap

On top is a cold shoe for a microphone or a small light; front and top each carry a 1/4"-20 thread with locating points for a ball joint, mini tripod or magic arm. The strap slot lets you secure the camera with a wrist strap. The cage thus becomes the building block for first-person riding, third-person views on a bike and 360° car shots on a suction cup.

What sits where: cold shoe, button, connector, door

On top is a cold shoe for a microphone or light, on the side the PRESS quick-release button that takes the cage off the camera without tools. The lower section leaves the DJI magnetic connector free, so the camera with the cage clicks onto the original mounts, selfie stick or battery extension rod. The battery door is removable — you swap the battery without taking the cage off.

1/4"-20 threads, strap slot and silicone protector

Front and top each carry a 1/4"-20 thread with locating points for a ball joint, mini tripod or handlebar mount. The strap slot secures the camera with a lanyard when shooting handheld. The silicone lens protector is included: it fits over the cage and protects both lenses in transport and off set.

On a motorcycle, a bike, in a car and handheld

The cage is built for the perspectives a 360° camera can deliver: first-person shots from the handlebars, a third-person view from a bike extension, 360° driving shots on a suction cup on the car body, handheld on a pole or hanging under a drone. Thanks to the quick release you switch between configurations without screwing anything, and the camera stays protected even in a fall.

Kit with horizontal plate

Tilta also offers the same cage as the Horizontal Mounting Kit (TA-T89-A-B), which adds a horizontal mounting plate for laying the camera flat with a lower center of gravity and a hand strap. Both the cage alone and the kit are in the selector below the price; they share the 1/4"-20 threads, the cold shoe and the DJI magnetic connector.
