Tilta ARCA Manfrotto Dual Quick Release Plate for Lightweight Shoulder Rig - Black

The Tilta ARCA Manfrotto Dual Quick Release Plate is the replacement quick release plate for the Tilta Lightweight Shoulder Rig and for the 15 mm LWS ARCA/Manfrotto dual baseplate. It carries a Manfrotto profile on one side and an ARCA profile on the other, so it also fits heads and DJI RS series gimbals. Long slots let the mounting point slide to match the thread spacing on a camera or a cage.

Anyone working with a Manfrotto head and ARCA clamps on a gimbal usually carries two plates. This one is both at once — and it only has to be screwed to the camera once.

Two standards on one plate

The plate has a Manfrotto profile on one side and an ARCA profile on the other, so it drops into both kinds of receiver — the dual baseplate of the shoulder rig as well as heads and DJI RS series gimbals that use ARCA. The long slots let the mounting point slide, so the thread lines up even on larger bodies and cages.

A baseplate for Manfrotto and ARCA alike

The bottom of the rig is a dual baseplate that takes both Manfrotto and ARCA quick release plates — the supplied plate does both at once. The baseplate can be removed and another baseplate or a dovetail bolted onto the rig’s main plate through its 1/4"-20 threads, so moving between tripod and shoulder takes moments.

What to watch out for

The dual Manfrotto/ARCA baseplate is designed for the supplied Tilta plate. Other Manfrotto or ARCA plates may hold in it, but the manufacturer does not guarantee it — and with a heavy camera this is not the place to economise.
