Teradek Prism 877 4K 10-bit HEVC/AVC Encoder/Decoder Card – 12G-SDI

Teradek Prism 877 (10-2877-S) is a modular 4K encoder/decoder card with two 12G-SDI connectors for Prism Rack 1RU and 2RU chassis. It processes up to 4K60 DCI/UHD at 10-bit 4:2:2, with HEVC (H.265), AVC (H.264), HDR, scaling and deinterlacing support. Software-selectable encode/decode operation and licensed bidirectional mode make it a flexible building block for broadcast, live production, contribution and distribution workflows.

4K60 ENCODE AND DECODE ON ONE CARD

Prism 877 SDI can be switched in software between encoder and decoder operation, with simultaneous bidirectional processing available under the relevant license. Dual 12G-SDI connectivity and up to 4K DCI/UHD 60p processing fit professional rack workflows.

HIGH QUALITY AND BROAD PROTOCOL SUPPORT

The card works from 250 kb/s to 50 Mb/s and supports HDR, an internal scaler and deinterlacer. Transport options include TRT, SRT, RIST, RTMP/RTMPS, MPEG-TS, RTSP/RTP, HLS, WHIP and WHEP, plus camera-to-cloud integrations.

MODULAR DENSITY FOR 1RU AND 2RU

One card occupies a single Prism Rack slot. A 1RU chassis accepts up to three cards and a 2RU chassis up to nine, allowing encode, decode and duplex tasks to be combined for each workflow. The card is chassis-powered and consumes up to 15 W.
