The multi-layer coating keeps reflectivity below 0.5%. The surface repels water and oil and resists scratches, so it is easier to clean. Optical glass in an aluminum frame weighs only 35 g.

Compatibility and limitations
The filter fits lenses with a 77 mm filter thread. It can also be used with matte boxes that support 77 mm circular threaded filters, provided you use a suitable adapter ring and the matte box accommodates the filter's outer diameter.
At higher density settings, or with certain wide-angle lenses, X-pattern darkening or uneven brightness may occur. Monitor the image and adjust the filter position as needed.
