Compatibility and limitations

The filter fits lenses with a 82 mm filter thread. It can also be used with matte boxes that support 82 mm circular threaded filters, provided you use a suitable adapter ring and the matte box accommodates the filter's outer diameter.

At higher density settings, or with certain wide-angle lenses, X-pattern darkening or uneven brightness may occur. Monitor the image and adjust the filter position as needed.
