VAXIS VFX VND-CPL 0.3-0.5 82MM FILTER (RED)

VAXIS VFX VND-CPL 82 mm combines a variable ND filter with density 0.3–0.5 (1–1.7 EV) and a circular polarizer in one screw-in frame. ND and CPL adjust independently and the ND locks in place. K95 glass, aluminium frame.

The VND-CPL filter replaces two separate filters on a lens with a 82 mm thread. The variable ND cuts 1–1.7 EV of light, so when fine-tuning exposure you keep a wide aperture and a cinematic shutter, while the circular polarizer tames reflections on water or glass and deepens the colour of the sky.

Two functions, two rings

ND and polarization are set independently. Turn the polarizer to suit the reflections, then fine-tune exposure with the variable ND.

ND lock

A knob locks the ND ring, so the density you set does not drift during a shot.

Fine exposure control

The lighter ND 0.3–0.5 takes away only 1–1.7 EV – ideal at dusk, indoors or under cloud, where a stronger filter would take too much. The polarizer keeps working on reflections.

K95 optical glass

Multi-layer coating resists scratches, fingerprints and flare.
