SmallRig Cage for Nikon Z50 II 4980

The all-metal SmallRig 4980 cage for the Nikon Z50 II holds the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and locating blocks. It offers two cold shoes, 1/4"-20 threads, ARRI 3/8"-16 holes, an Arca-Swiss plate and a 9H tempered glass screen protector in the box.

The aluminium alloy cage wraps the Nikon Z50 II, protects the camera body and adds mounting points for handles, a monitor, a microphone and a light. A tempered glass screen protector comes with it.

Mounting and protection

• A 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and locating blocks on both sides hold the camera.
• Silicone padding inside prevents scratches on the body.
• Buttons and ports stay fully accessible.
• The cage goes on without removing the strap D-rings.
• The included 9H tempered glass protector guards the LCD screen against scratches.

Expansion

• Two integrated cold shoe mounts for a microphone or an LED light.
• 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 1/4"-20 locating holes for side handles, magic arms, HDMI cable clamps or a monitor support.
• ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes on top for a top handle.
• Strap holes and QD interfaces for a shoulder strap.

Arca-Swiss plate

• The bottom carries an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for Arca-type tripods.
• It also fits DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 stabilizers, so switching between handheld, gimbal and tripod is quick.
• A dual head wrench stored at the bottom helps with assembly and removal.

The cage weighs 134 g. Its top section may stop the camera's built-in flash from popping up.
