The RODE SM5 is a special spring-loaded mount that can be attached to the microphone holder used on a range of professional video cameras.
The SM5 mount's design isolates the microphone from the camera, so no unwanted rumble or vibration caused by camera handling is picked up in the recording.
The bottom of the mount features 1/4" and 3/8" threads for easy attachment to a boom pole or other accessories.
Designed for microphones: NTG-1, NTG-2, NTG-3, NT3, NT4, NT5, NT55.
