NT55-MP

The NT 55-MP is a select pair of compact condenser microphones with interchangeable microphone capsules.

Similar to the RODE NT5 microphone, the RODE NT55 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone often referred to as a "pencil" microphone. The NT55 is equipped with a 1/2" (slide-on) condenser microphone capsule also used in the RODE NT5 with a cardioid polar pattern. An omnidirectional pattern can be achieved by simply replacing the cartridge with the NT45-O cartridge included in the package.

The NT55 offers low noise, wide dynamic range, a three-position input sensitivity switch (0, -10, or -20 dB), and a three-position frequency filter that allows you to set 75 or 150 Hz.

Although it is an instrument microphone, the NT55 is very good for situations where a small, unobtrusive but effective microphone is required to meet the demands of demanding recording systems.

The NT55 is designed for use in television, film, live broadcasting, theater, or for creating any type of recording in any environment.

In addition to the NT55 microphone pair itself, the NT55-MP package also includes two directionally different condenser microphone capsules (NT45-C and NT45-O), 2x RM5 microphone holders, 2x WS5 windshields – all packed in a practical and sturdy carrying case.
