Designed for use with compatible Sennheiser IEM transmitters, this system ensures stable RF performance and high-quality stereo audio reproduction for stage, theater, worship, and rehearsal applications.

Operating within the A frequency band (516–558 MHz), the receiver offers 1680 selectable frequencies arranged across 20 fixed frequency banks and 6 user-programmable banks, each supporting up to 16 channels. This flexible architecture allows up to 16 compatible channels to operate simultaneously while minimizing intermodulation issues and maintaining clean RF performance.

The adaptive diversity reception system enhances signal stability by reducing dropouts and interference, ensuring reliable monitoring throughout performances. A backlit, menu-driven display provides real-time information including frequency, RF and AF levels, battery status, and channel/bank selection, with an auto-lock function to prevent accidental setting changes during use.

The EK IEM G4 features Sennheiser’s HDX compander system for clear, dynamic audio reproduction with low noise and high intelligibility. Additional sound-shaping tools include a switchable high-boost and adjustable limiter, allowing users to tailor monitoring levels for different performance environments.

Housed in a rugged metal bodypack, the receiver is designed for durability in demanding stage conditions. It operates using two AA batteries or an optional Sennheiser BA 2015 rechargeable accupack, delivering 4 to 6 hours of operating time depending on usage.
