Sennheiser BA 2015-4 rechargeable battery, pack of 4

The BA 2015-4 rechargeable battery pack powers bodypack transmitters and receivers of the evolution wireless G3 100, 300 and 500 Series, 2000 Series, Tourguide SK 2020-D and EK 1039. It contains two rechargeable NiMH cells and is inserted into the battery compartment instead of two standard AA cells. The battery pack features an integrated sensor which indicates the battery status, monitors temperature during recharging and avoids the charging of non-rechargeable batteries.

Two cells in one pack, four times over

The BA 2015 replaces two AA cells directly in the battery compartment. A pack of four covers two complete channels — transmitter and receiver — and still leaves a set to swap in when the shoot runs all day.

A sensor that will not charge an alkaline

The built-in sensor reports the battery status and watches the temperature while charging. It also recognises when the cells in the compartment are not rechargeable and refuses to start — which is precisely the mistake that otherwise ends with a leaking battery inside the device.
