The EK 500 G4 is the camera receiver of the 500 series — the same mounting and wiring as the 100 series, but with the wider band and higher output power of the system. The supplied CL 500 cable ends in XLR, so it also fits a camera with professional inputs.

The 500P series for film and television

The 500P system has a wider tuning range — up to 88 MHz carrying as many as 32 parallel channels — and higher output power, switchable between 10, 30 and 50 mW. That difference shows where the spectrum is crowded and where a take cannot be repeated.
