The Sennheiser MKE 2-EW Gold is a professional miniature omnidirectional lavalier microphone in black with a locking 3.5 mm connector for compatible Sennheiser wireless transmitters. Its Umbrella Diaphragm™ and welded housing improve resistance to sweat in demanding live use.

Professional lavalier microphone for live use

The MKE 2-EW Gold combines very small dimensions with natural omnidirectional pickup and high durability. It handles sound pressure levels up to 142 dB SPL and is suitable for speech, theatre, presentations and instrument pickup.

The locking 3.5 mm connector is designed for compatible Sennheiser bodypack transmitters in the ew G3, ew G4, ew D1, SpeechLine DW and XSW ranges. The black finish identifies the MKE 2-ew Gold variant, article number 009831.

Sennheiser MZW 2 windshield supplied with the MKE 2

Built for moisture-prone live work

The special ultralight Umbrella Diaphragm and welded housing help protect the microphone in demanding theatre and live-production use. The supplied MZW 2 windshield reduces disruptive air movement.

Discreet lavalier microphone attachment

Discreet, flexible placement

The sub-miniature capsule is easy to conceal in clothing or hair. The lightweight cable reduces pull on the microphone, while a broad attachment ecosystem supports precise positioning.
