The new Samyang MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 represents the evolution of a highly cherished lens design, loved by photographers for its beautiful bokeh. The new MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 is ideal for capturing highest quality portraiture and still images with its vivid colour rendition and smooth out-focus bokeh quality. New MK2 version features the same optical design as MK1, but adds weather sealing, new focus ring for better grip, and a switch for de-clicking the aperture.

What’s New? - Main Features
De-click
The MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 features a de-click aperture option which allows infinitely fine adjustment between F-stops. By rotating the silver ring from 'Click' to 'Free', you can adjust the aperture smoothly and precisely, to ensure exactly the right amount of light is captured.

9 Aperture Blades
In terms of bokeh performance, the 9-rounded aperture blades help to achieve excellent smooth and creamy out of focus backgrounds. The 9 aperture blades also provide clearly defined sunstars when the aperture is stopped-down.

9 Elements in 7 Groups (1 Hybrid ASP) with UMC
The new MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 features a total of 9 elements in 7 groups. Samyang's optical design uses a Hybrid Aspherical lens element, to minimise spherical aberration and distortion, for pin-sharp image quality.

Usability / Weather Sealing
Environmental seals are located around the lens mount area to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain drops. This feature provides an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
