New MK2 version features the same optical design as MK1, but adds weather sealing, new focus ring for better grip, and a switch for de-clicking the aperture.

What’s New? - Main Features
De-click
The MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 features a de-click aperture option which allows infinitely fine adjustment between F-stops. By rotating the silver ring from 'Click' to 'Free', you can adjust the aperture smoothly and precisely, to ensure exactly the right amount of light is captured.

9 Aperture Blades
In terms of bokeh performance, the 9-rounded aperture blades help to achieve excellent smooth and creamy out of focus backgrounds. The 9 aperture blades also provide clearly defined sunstars when the aperture is stopped-down.

9 Elements in 7 Groups (1 Hybrid ASP) with UMC
The new MF 85mm F1.4 MK2 features a total of 9 elements in 7 groups. Samyang's optical design uses a Hybrid Aspherical lens element, to minimise spherical aberration and distortion, for pin-sharp image quality.

Usability / Weather Sealing
Environmental seals are located around the lens mount area to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain drops. This feature provides an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
