The RED Connect Module connects to your V-RAPTOR or V-RAPTOR XL (V-Lock) camera to unlock 8K live cinematic streaming via the groundbreaking RED Connect solution. RED Connect enables users the ability to stream RAW R3D files direct from the V-RAPTOR and V-RAPTOR XL camera systems over IP to a camera control unit (CCU) in real-time, opening an extraordinary range of creative applications from live broadcast to virtual production to true 8K VR.

  • Simultaneously stream and record on the CCU
  • Genlock and timecode synchronization of multiple cameras using PTP (SMPTE ST 2059-2)
  • Compact form factor with easy connectivity to V-RAPTOR and V-RAPTOR XL High-speed 10 Gbps connection via fiber optic cable

For proper operation and integration into the production workflow, the module must be used in conjunction with compatible DSMC3 camera bodies and high-quality connectivity infrastructure.
