Tilta Scout Jacket L - Black

The Tilta Scout Jacket in size L is a black waterproof jacket for filmmakers who work outdoors: 20,000 mm water column, 10,000 g/m²/24 h breathability, wind-resistant, lightweight non-stretch material, a detachable hood, drawstring adjustment, velcro cuffs and plenty of pockets including a waterproof chest pocket and an inner pocket with compartments. The sleeve carries a velcro area for Tilta Tactical Patches, and the Scout Jacket Liner fleece can be fitted inside.

Tilta Scout Jacket L is a jacket designed for work in challenging terrain: it combines functionality and comfort for camera operators and for anyone who spends long days outdoors.

Waterproof, breathable, wind resistant

The entire jacket is waterproof — the outer shell has a 20,000 mm water column, so it keeps you dry in rain and snow. It is also breathable (10,000 g/m²/24 h), so you do not overheat even on intense shooting days, and wind resistant, so it keeps you warm in rough weather. The lightweight fabric protects you from the sun, and the non-stretch material is durable enough for rough handling on set. Regular fit, regular thickness.

Detachable hood and chin guard

The hood is detachable and adjusts with a drawstring, so it stays put in the wind; in fine weather it simply unclips. The high collar zips right up and shields your chin from the cold. There is a waterproof zippered pocket on the chest, and the inside of the jacket carries an embroidered mountain motif with the lettering Tilta Waterproof Jacket.

Pockets for everything you need

The jacket has multiple pockets without spoiling its sleek, streamlined silhouette: large zippered pockets, a waterproof chest pocket and a versatile inner pocket with several compartments — for batteries, a multitool and the small items you want close at hand and secure.

Velcro cuffs and sleeve patches

The cuffs adjust with velcro, so you can fit them over gloves or tighten them against the rain. The sleeve carries a velcro area for Tilta Tactical Patches — six designs to choose from, so you can mark the jacket your own way.

Fleece liner for the cold

The Tilta Scout Jacket Liner fleece (sold separately) is designed for this jacket: a quarter-zip pullover that slips in and out easily and adds a layer of warmth for shooting in freezing conditions. The jacket comes in black in sizes S to XXL; this variant is size L, and the measurements are in the table in the specification.
