PortKeys BM5 WR 5.5“ Monitor with RED KOMODO Wireless Control

The PortKeys BM5 WRIII is a professional 5.5-inch touchscreen monitor with an exceptional brightness of 2,200 nits, a 10-bit Full HD panel, and wireless control of the RED KOMODO camera. It also offers Bluetooth control of Blackmagic Design cameras and wired control of select models from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Z CAM, and others.

2,200 nits of brightness for outdoor shooting

The Full HD 1920 × 1080 panel with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 10-bit display (8+2 FRC) delivers accurate images even in direct sunlight. Durable glass and an aluminum construction protect the monitor during everyday use.

Wireless Control via RED KOMODO and Blackmagic

Built-in Wi-Fi enables control of RED KOMODO, while Bluetooth supports compatible Blackmagic Design cameras. Depending on the model, you can adjust exposure and focus and start recording from the touchscreen.

Wired Control of Cameras and Focus Systems

Using optional control cables, the monitor supports select cameras and camcorders from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Z CAM, and Blackmagic. A separate interface also allows you to control the Nucleus-N and Nucleus-M tilt systems.

HDMI, 3G-SDI, and LUT Output

The monitor offers HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs, a 3G-SDI output, and support for video signals up to 1080p60. Custom 3D LUTs can be used for preview and also applied to the SDI output for other devices in the video chain.

Professional Image Monitoring Tools

Features include waveform, histogram, zebra, false color, peaking, zoom, anamorphic de-squeeze, audio meters, HLG, Freeze Frame, guides, image flip, and Blackmagic Tally signaling via SDI.

Compact Metal Body and Portable Power

The monitor weighs approximately 376 g and is powered by Sony NP‑F batteries or an external power source via a secured four-pin connector. Maximum power consumption is approximately 13 W.
