Portkeys BM5 IV

The Portkeys BM5 IV is a professional 5.5" touchscreen camera monitor with a 10-bit Full HD panel, exceptional brightness of 2,000 nits, and both HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI interfaces. It displays a 4K60 signal via HDMI, offers pass-through outputs and cross-conversion, making it suitable for both compact camera rigs and film productions.

A clear display even in direct sunlight

With 2,000 nits of brightness, 1920 × 1080 resolution, and a wide color gamut, you get an accurate and easy-to-read preview whether you’re shooting indoors or outdoors. Factory calibration helps maintain consistent colors.

4K60 HDMI, 3G-SDI, and Cross-Conversion

The monitor features HDMI input and output up to 4K60, 3G-SDI input and output, and HDMI-to-SDI signal conversion. It can therefore be easily integrated into both camera-based and professional SDI setups.

Wired Control of Compatible Cameras

When connected via the appropriate control cable, you can adjust supported settings for select cameras directly from the touchscreen. This speeds up workflow on set and reduces the need to touch the camera body.

CINENORM OS and Customizable Workspaces

The CINENORM operating system offers up to seven user-configurable pages. Individual tools can be arranged according to the type of work or the crew member’s role, and saved configurations can be transferred via USB between monitors of the same model.

Precise control of exposure, focus, and color

Features include waveform, vectorscope, histogram, zebra, peaking, standard and ARRI False Color, custom false colors, anamorphic de-squeeze, on-screen guides, and support for custom 3D LUTs. LUTs can also be applied to the SDI output signal.

Split-screen and custom calibration

PBP, PIP, and H2V Crop modes allow you to compare sources or parts of the image. Users can import two custom calibration files and precisely adjust the color rendering to match their work environment.
