Panasonic S1M2ES + R24105

The Panasonic S1M2E features exceptional image quality adapted to a variety of shooting conditions. The S1 IIE uses a 24.2MP sensor inspired by the performance of the LUMIX S5II, which allows you to capture up to 96MP images in High Resolution mode (even handheld). The kit includes a Panasonic LUMIX S 24-105mm f/4.0 Macro OIS lens. Availability is expected for June 2025.

The camera incorporates important features from the S1 IIE, positioning it as a comprehensive tool for creative projects. It also introduces the new Cinemascope (2.4:1) video format, available in a variety of frame rates including 60p 10-bit without cropping. In addition, it also supports 6K 30p (3:2) video in open gate mode. It offers over 14 EV of dynamic range when recording video in V-Log mode.

High Speed Continuous Shooting enables continuous shooting up to 30 fps with electronic shutter in "SH/SH PRE" mode and extended continuous shooting mode "H+ (High Speed Plus)" at approximately 10 fps with mechanical shutter, allowing you to shoot without interrupting the preview. The shutter has a lifetime of up to 400,000 cycles.

The Panasonic S1 IIE retains the cutting-edge design and ergonomic excellence of the S1II and S1RII models. It features a fully rotatable and tiltable 1.84-megapixel display, a high quality OLED viewfinder with 5.76 million dots and two memory card slots(CFexpress B + SD).

The magnesium alloy body weighs 795 g and is resistant to dust, moisture and freezing (down to -10 °C). It can be seamlessly integrated with accessories such as the DMW-BG2 battery grip and the DMW-XLR2 adapter for 32-bit float audio recording.

Enhanced performance that opens up new creative possibilities

The Panasonic S1 IIE features a redesigned hybrid autofocus with real-time phase detection with improved eye and face recognition and AI-based person tracking accuracy. The addition of new AF recognition for "Urban Sports" means accurate capture of dynamic movements such as breakdancing, skateboarding, parkour, etc.

The S1 IIE's body includes improved 8.0EV in-body image stabilization (B.I.S.) and newly developed E.I.S. clipless video distortion correction, which stabilizes without cropping the angle of view.
The S1M2E offers V-Log and ARRI LogC3 support (when activated with the DMW-SFU3A key) and internal 5.8K 30p / C4K 60p Apple ProRes RAW HQ / ProRes RAW recording to a CFexpress Type B card.

Applications and software that seamlessly support worflow

The S1 IIE is compatible with Capture One, enabling seamless workflow with widely used editing software for professional studio photography. Compatibility with Frame.io, means a seamless transition from shooting to editing, as well as sharing and collaborating in the cloud.

Of course, integration with the LUMIX Lab app simplifies the transfer, editing and color personalization of photos and videos for seamless integration with smartphones and social sharing. Now including compatibility with HEIF files.

LUMIX Flow helps with storyboarding, on-site checks during shooting, and automatic post-shoot data organization to support the video production workflow.
The updated version 1.1 supports wireless connectivity, remote monitor mirroring and other assistive features (WaveForm monitor / Vectorscope / False color).

The body of the LUMIX S1R II is complemented by the Panasonic LUMIX S 24-105mm f/4.0 Macro OIS wide-range prime zoom lens, which features 6K photo & 4K video, f/4.0 aperture, 1:2 macro and weatherproof optical stabilizer for L-Mount standard.
