The RODE NT45O is an omnidirectional capsule for expanding the directional characteristics of RODE NT-5, NT-55, and NT-6 condenser microphones.
The NT45-O is a replaceable omnidirectional capsule with a small diaphragm designed for the NT4, NT5, NT55, and NT6 microphones. Switching between the NT45-O capsule and the standard cardioid capsule is very easy, which greatly expands the possibilities for using these microphones.
Changing the microphone's characteristics is as simple as unscrewing and replacing the capsule. This increases the microphone's versatility.
Since the omnidirectional, or spherical, directional characteristic records sound evenly from all sides, it is ideal for situations where it is necessary to capture the overall ambient sound.
