Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR

The NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR is the first constant f/2.8 zoom for DX format in the Nikon Z system. Its range is equivalent to 24–75 mm in FX format, optical vibration reduction (VR) is rated at 4.5 stops, and it focuses from just 0.15 m. It weighs 330 g, resists dust and dripping water, and comes with the HB-118 lens hood.

At f/2.8 the lens produces striking out-of-focus highlights. Try 50 mm with blurred foreground and background and your subject will stand out. Wide open gives portraits with softly rendered skin, while stopping down delivers sharp detail in landscapes and architecture from front to back.

At around 330 g, the lens is so light that you will take it with you more often than you expect and happily leave it on your Nikon Z camera on a walk. It resists dust and dripping water.
