Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 is a small, affordable wide-angle lens for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. At just 43 mm long and 155 g, it goes anywhere with you. The f/2.8 aperture helps in dim light, and the 0.19 m minimum focus distance lets you get close to food or details. The barrel is designed with dust and drip resistance in mind.

This small, affordable 28 mm lens for FX-format mirrorless cameras gives even everyday shots rich colour and contrast. Photos and videos of streets and landscapes stay sharp even in low light.

Sharp up close

The wide-angle lens stays sharp when focused at short distances – ideal for stylish food shots and striking portraits. The 0.19 m minimum focus distance lets you shoot with the camera just 19 cm from the subject.

Fast, quiet focusing

The multi-focusing system delivers fast, smooth, accurate and quiet autofocus while improving optical performance across the entire focusing range. In video, focus breathing is suppressed and exposure stays stable.

Always at hand

At 43 mm long and 155 g, it goes anywhere, and there is no need to extend it before shooting. The control ring can be assigned one of many functions, and the barrel is designed with dust and drip resistance in mind.

Soft backgrounds

The large-diameter Nikon Z mount, f/2.8 aperture and seven-blade rounded diaphragm create soft, natural rendering of out-of-focus areas (bokeh). A sharp subject stands out against a beautifully blurred background, especially when shooting at close range.
