The Sennheiser MKE 1 is the brand’s smallest professional lavalier microphone, with a 3.3 mm capsule. It suits musicals, live shows and broadcasting where the microphone has to be virtually invisible. A protective membrane keeps sweat out and the thin, rugged cable transmits very little handling noise. Beige version, open end. It handles up to 142 dB SPL.

The microphone nobody sees on stage

A special gauze and a multi-purpose cap catch moisture before it reaches the capsule, so the microphone picks up only what it should. Two frequency response caps change the treble character and the cable with its moulded anti-kink sleeve withstands daily fitting and removal. This version is beige and the cable has an open end, so the sound engineer can solder on the connector that matches their own transmitter.

A newly developed, moisture-resistant protective membrane lets the MKE 1 stand up to harsh live conditions better than other clip-on microphones.
