The top 3/8″ screw allows for direct attachment of a VR boom. Manfrotto specifically recommends it for the carbon fiber models MBOOMCFVR-S and MBOOMCFVR-M.
The quick-release center column allows for quick adjustment of the working height. With the column retracted, the base measures 28.5 cm; the minimum height is 21 cm; and when folded, it measures just 30 cm.
The 23° and 51° positions adjust the base’s footprint depending on the surface and the stability required. Single-section aluminum legs with rubber feet help prevent slipping on smooth floors.
The VR camera and extension boom are not included.
