ZOOM AND RECORD CONTROL FROM THE HANDLE

The Manfrotto MVR901ECEX is a clamp-mounted controller designed for compatible Sony PMW‑EX series camcorders. The quick-release clamp grips a round pan handle or rig tube with a diameter of 12–23 mm, keeping key controls within easy reach throughout the entire shot.

The multi-speed zoom is complemented by a direction switch, an upper speed limit adjustment, and buttons for quick wide or telephoto zoom. Dedicated REC/STOP, RET, and status LED buttons help you respond without having to move your hand to the camera.

MULTI-SPEED ZOOM

A smooth control and a maximum speed potentiometer allow you to tailor the zoom to the nature of the shot.

QUICK WIDE / TELE

Dedicated buttons activate quick wide or tele zoom, provided the connected camera supports this feature.

RET AND REC LEDs

RET plays back the last five seconds, and the LED provides instant feedback on recording status.

ERGONOMICS FOR PROFESSIONAL VIDEO

The low-profile control panel and side controls are arranged for one-handed operation. The integrated 1-meter cable connects directly to a compatible Sony PMW-EX connector.

Compatibility is not determined by the connector alone. Please verify the specific camera model and the availability of the REC, zoom, RET, and standby functions in the included official Manfrotto table.
