The Manfrotto 400PL-LOW is the official low-profile (13 mm) quick-release plate for the 400 Deluxe Geared Head (3263), providing the absolute lowest camera-to-head height for maximum stability and minimum leverage. Supplied with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8" screws and featuring a non-slip rubber/cork pad, it’s the perfect spare or replacement for studio, macro, and product photographers who demand the rock-solid, lowest possible setup on their geared head.
The 400PL-LOW is the shortest of the three original plates designed for the legendary Manfrotto 400 geared head. At only 13 mm tall, it brings the camera as close as possible to the head’s center of gravity, dramatically reducing flex and vibration—especially valuable with heavy medium-format, technical, or long telephoto lenses. The large 75 mm diameter aluminum plate includes dual anti-rotation pins, a high-grip rubber/cork surface, and comes with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 stainless camera screws.
