The Manfrotto 085BSL Light Boom 35 Black (A25) is a robust, three-section telescopic boom arm designed for studio and location lighting. With a maximum reach of 2.5 m (98.4") and a 6 kg payload at full extension (using the included 6.8 kg counterweight), it’s perfect for positioning large softboxes, reflectors, or strobes directly above the subject without floor stands getting in the frame. The boom features 35 mm diameter aluminum sections for maximum rigidity, a pivoting clamp (123) that attaches to any stand with 5/8" spigot, built-in cable clips to keep power cords tidy, and a double-ended top stud with 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads plus 5/8" socket. When collapsed, it’s only 100 cm long for easy transport.
