Manfrotto 024B is a three-section aluminium boom arm for positioning a studio light above the set, behind the subject or away from the stand axis. The supplied 124 pivot clamp attaches it to light-stand shafts with 19, 20, 25 or 28 mm diameters; the stand itself is not included. The arm extends from 120 to 210 cm, safely carries 3 kg at full extension, and the included 4.3 kg 023 counterweight helps balance the assembly. Its end fittings provide a 16 mm stud plus 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for common studio accessories.

A three-section aluminium arm with its own pivot clamp and counterweight creates controlled overhead, hair-light and back-light positions while keeping the supporting stand outside the frame.

The supplied clamp attaches the boom to shafts measuring 19, 20, 25 or 28 mm in diameter. Its controls let the arm pivot around the stand and lock the chosen angle; a suitable light stand is required and is not included.
The end of the 25 mm boom tube accepts common lighting hardware through a 16 mm (5/8″) stud and reversible 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 male threads. Cable clips help route a fixture cable along the arm.
