The Manfrotto MTBFRTC4GTFB Befree GT PRO carbon tripod legs provide a travel-ready base for a separately selected compatible head. Four carbon-fibre leg sections, twist locks and three independently selectable leg angles support a working range of 31–150 cm, or up to 126 cm with the Rapid centre column down. The legs weigh 1.15 kg, fold to 43 cm and carry a stated payload of 12 kg. A male 3/8″ head screw, a female 3/8″ Easy Link accessory socket and an included carry bag help you build and transport your own camera setup.

Carbon legs for travel
Four carbon-fibre sections, 1.15 kg weight and a 43 cm folded length. Reach up to 150 cm; choose your head separately.

Carry your own setup
Fold the legs to 43 cm and pack them in the included carry bag. The legs-only version lets you choose a compatible head for a mirrorless camera, DSLR or another supported setup. Check the packed setup against your luggage limits.
Choose the head and extras
The 40 mm disc has a male 3/8″ screw for a compatible head. A separate female 3/8″ Easy Link socket accepts a suitable arm for a light or monitor. Heads and accessory arms are selected separately.
Quarter-turn leg locks
Release the twist locks with a quarter turn to adjust the four carbon-fibre leg sections. The tube diameters are 25.3, 21.7, 18.2 and 14.7 mm. Close the locks securely before loading the tripod.
Set the leg angle safely
Slightly close the leg (1), press selector W (2), choose the angle and reopen the leg (3). Each leg has three independently selectable positions. Keep fingers out of the central collar mechanism.
From low angles to eye level
The minimum height is 31 cm. Maximum height is 126 cm with the centre column down and 150 cm with it raised. The Rapid column can be reversed for low-angle work; follow the operating instructions when reconfiguring it.
Keep the load balanced
The stated tripod payload is 12 kg. Stay within the limits of the complete setup and of every attached component. When using the counterweight hook, the camera equipment and counterweight together must remain within the permitted payload.
The ergonomic leg-angle selectors can be operated by left- or right-handed photographers. Select heads and accessory arms by their interface, dimensions and loading limits; a matching 3/8″ thread alone is not a guarantee of a suitable complete setup.
